SolarEdge Inverter: understanding the "P / 1 / 0" toggle switch
Many SolarEdge inverters have a small toggle switch on the bottom of the unit with three positions: P, 1, and 0.
- 1 (ON): Normal operating position. Leave the switch here so your system can produce power.
- 0 (OFF): Stops solar production. The inverter safely lowers its voltage before shutting down.
- P (Pairing / Programming): A spring-loaded position used by installers to pair optimizers, connect communications, or start setup. It springs back to 1 when released.
What to know
- If the switch is on 0, your system will not produce. Move it to 1 and wait a few minutes for the inverter to check the grid.
- Holding the switch in P for too long can start a pairing or setup process. If you bumped it by accident, release it and let it return to 1.
- Don't hold the switch in P unless Pure Solar Texas asks you to.
If the switch is on 1 and the system still isn't producing after 15 minutes of sunshine, see KM-414 or call or text us at 806-454-7873.
