Not sure if you have SolarEdge or Enphase? How to tell

Step 1 — Check your phone. A "mySolarEdge" app (red SolarEdge logo) means SolarEdge. An "Enphase" app (orange circle "e" logo, formerly Enlighten) means Enphase.

Step 2 — Look at the box on the outside wall near your electric meter. SolarEdge: a sturdy grey or white METAL inverter with "solaredge" printed on the front, a switch or dial on the bottom, and three small lights (blue, green, red) or a small screen on older models.

Enphase: a lighter off-white PLASTIC cabinet with a latch, the word ENPHASE and an orange "e" logo on the door. Inside are four small status lights (cloud, phone, microinverters, production) and regular breaker switches. Enphase has no big inverter on the wall — small microinverters sit under each panel on the roof.

Step 3 — Still not sure? Sign in to your Pure Solar portal, check your utility approval letter, or take a photo of the box and call or text us at 806-454-7873.

If you have a plastic Enphase IQ Combiner, use the Enphase troubleshooting section (KM-512 to KM-516) instead.
